1. Materials & Longevity

How long will Niluh Swati’s paintings last?

Niluh Swati's paintings are crafted using high-quality, professionally preserved materials to ensure their longevity. With proper care and attention, your artwork will retain its vibrancy for generations. However, it is important to note that the longevity of the painting also depends on how it is handled and maintained. We recommend following the care instructions provided to ensure the best preservation of your artwork. Niluh Swati cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from improper care, environmental factors, or mishandling of the painting.

Are your artworks protected from fading?

Yes! I use UV-resistant finishes and archival-quality materials to help preserve the colors and intricate details of each piece over time. However, it is important to note that the longevity of the artwork's appearance also depends on how it is displayed and cared for. Exposure to excessive sunlight, humidity, or environmental conditions may affect the artwork's condition. While we take great care in ensuring the best quality materials, Niluh Swati cannot be held responsible for fading or damage caused by improper handling or display conditions.

How should I care for my artwork?

To ensure your artwork remains in excellent condition:

  • Keep paintings away from direct sunlight and humidity.
  • Frame paper-based artworks with UV-protective glass.
  • Dust canvas paintings gently with a soft, dry cloth.
  • For mixed media artworks, avoid touching textured surfaces; if necessary, clean with a soft brush or compressed air.
  • Store unframed artworks in acid-free materials to prevent deterioration

2. The Importance of Balinese Script in My Art

Why is Aksara Bali important in your artwork, and how does it contribute to the preservation of Balinese cultural heritage?

Aksara Bali is the ancient Balinese script that embodies the essence of Bali’s cultural heritage. Used for centuries in sacred texts and temple carvings, this script represents the spiritual depth and history of the island.

It is not only sacred but also exceptionally RARE, understood by only a limited number of people globally. Beyond the island of Bali, Aksara Bali remains largely unfamiliar, which makes every artwork that incorporates it not just a form of creative expression, but also a preservation of intangible cultural heritage. Each piece bridges tradition and contemporary art, offering both aesthetic and historical value.

Through my artwork, I aim to preserve and evolve Aksara Bali, making it relevant in the modern world. By collecting my art, you welcome a piece of Bali’s rich tradition, blessings, and spiritual energy into your space.

3. Artwork Availability

Are your artworks auctioned or available for direct purchase?

I offer two categories of artworks:

  • Auction Pieces: These are exclusive to exhibitions and are not published online. Prices for these artworks are available upon request. I will share the details of auction pieces with my mailing list or directly with private collectors.
  • Fixed-Price Pieces: These artworks are available for direct purchase online at set prices and will always retain their original value.

4. Is buying your art an investment?

Yes, in a way. My paintings carry the rich heritage of Balinese culture and Sanskrit traditions. Owning one can be seen as an appreciation of this history and craftsmanship, offering lasting artistic value that bridges both the past and the present.

5. Shipping & Packaging

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! I offer worldwide shipping, with insurance coverage for original artworks.

Are there any additional taxes or customs duties?

According to §19 of the German VAT Act (Kleinunternehmerregelung), no VAT is charged.

Customs duties do not apply to shipments within the European Union (EU), except in areas outside the EU’s customs territory (such as the Canary Islands or other special territories). For shipments outside the EU, customs duties, import taxes, and VAT may apply, depending on the destination country’s regulations. These fees are the responsibility of the customer. The customer is also responsible for handling any necessary administrative tasks, such as customs clearance and payment of relevant fees. Please ensure you are informed about the specific customs regulations and taxes in your country before making a purchase, as I cannot be held responsible for any additional customs charges, taxes, or fees.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, free shipping is provided for all orders, including international shipments. However, please note that in the event of a return or refund, the collector will be responsible for all associated costs, including return shipping, taxes, and any additional fees, such as currency conversion charges, as refunds are processed exclusively in euros. These costs will not be refunded.

How long does shipping take?

I understand that you’re excited to receive your artwork, so I process and ship orders as quickly as possible:

  • Original Paintings: Processed and shipped within 5–10 business days via DHL, UPS, or FedEx.
  • Custom Balinese Script Additions: May take an additional 3–5 business days before shipping.

Estimated Delivery Time (Processing + Shipping):

  • Germany: 7–15 business days
  • EU: 10–17 business days
  • International: 12–24 business days

Please note: These are estimated delivery times and depend on the reliability of our trusted shipping partners.

How is my artwork packaged?

  • Original paintings are carefully wrapped in protective layers and shipped in sturdy boxes.

Will I receive a tracking number?

Yes! Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details.

What happens if my artwork arrives damaged?

All shipments (excluding open prints) are fully insured. If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage. I will assist with the shipping carrier’s insurance claim.

What happens if my order is lost in transit?

If a package is lost, I will work with the shipping carrier’s insurance to resolve the issue. Compensation will be handled according to the carrier’s policy.

6. Orders & Customization

Are your paintings original?

Yes! My original paintings are one-of-a-kind creations using oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastels, and other materials. 

Do you offer limited edition prints?

I do not produce prints, as I choose to preserve the exclusivity and originality of each artwork.

Can I request a custom painting?

While I do not offer full painting customizations, I do provide custom Balinese script writing. You can add initials, a meaningful word, or a short message in Balinese script to personalize your artwork—perfect for gifts or special occasions.

Do you offer framing options?

Currently, my paintings are sold unframed, providing you with the flexibility to choose a frame that complements your space. However, please note that the addition of a frame may affect the shipping costs, as framed artwork requires special handling and packaging.

7. Certificate of Authenticity

Do original paintings come with a Certificate of Authenticity?

Yes! Every original painting comes with a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity as proof of its originality.

8. Payment & Returns

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, Shop Pay, UnionPay Japan, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna Pay Later, and direct bank transfers. Direct bank transfer must be paid within 7 days. Your order will be processed once the payment has been received and confirmed. We ensure a seamless and secure checkout experience. Your privacy and data protection are of the utmost importance to us. According to §19 of the German VAT Act (Kleinunternehmerregelung), no VAT is charged.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges? 

Refunds are available within 14 days of receiving your artwork. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase or your artwork arrives damaged, please contact me within that time. Custom or personalised items, such as custom Balinese script additions, are non-refundable unless damaged during shipping. In such cases, I will work with the shipping insurance provider to resolve the issue. Exchanges are not permitted; all returns are processed as refunds. How do I receive an invoice for my order?

Once your order has been successfully placed, your invoice will be sent to you automatically via email. If you don’t see it in your inbox, kindly check your spam or junk folder. If you still haven’t received the invoice, feel free to reach out to me for assistance. I will be happy to help!

Do you sell digital versions of your artwork?

Do you work with interior designers or galleries?

Yes! If you are an interior designer, curator, or gallery owner interested in collaborations or exhibitions, please contact me via email.

Bei sachgemäßer Pflege behalten die Werke ihre Leuchtkraft über Generationen hinweg. Die Lebensdauer hängt jedoch auch davon ab, wie das Kunstwerk gehandhabt und gepflegt wird. Wir empfehlen, die beigefügten Pflegehinweise zu beachten. Für Schäden, die durch unsachgemäße Pflege, Umwelteinflüsse oder unsachgemäße Handhabung entstehen, kann Niluh Swati nicht haftbar gemacht werden.

Sind Ihre Kunstwerke gegen Verblassen geschützt?

Ja! Ich verwende UV-beständige Schutzlacke und Materialien in Archivqualität, um Farben und Details langfristig zu bewahren. Dennoch hängt die Haltbarkeit auch davon ab, wie das Werk ausgestellt und gepflegt wird. Direkte Sonneneinstrahlung, Feuchtigkeit oder extreme Umwelteinflüsse können den Zustand beeinträchtigen. Niluh Swati übernimmt keine Haftung für Schäden oder Farbverlust durch falsche Handhabung oder Lagerung.

Wie sollte ich mein Kunstwerk pflegen?

Damit Ihr Kunstwerk in bestem Zustand bleibt:

  • Halten Sie es fern von direktem Sonnenlicht und Feuchtigkeit.
  • Verwenden Sie UV-Schutzglas für Werke auf Papier.
  • Reinigen Sie Leinwände vorsichtig mit einem weichen, trockenen Tuch.
  • Bei Mixed-Media-Werken: Strukturierte Flächen nicht berühren, ggf. mit Pinsel oder Druckluft reinigen.
  • Ungerahmte Werke in säurefreien Materialien lagern.

2. Die Bedeutung der balinesischen Schrift in meiner Kunst

Warum ist Aksara Bali in Ihrer Kunst wichtig und wie trägt sie zur Erhaltung des balinesischen Kulturerbes bei?

Aksara Bali ist eine alte balinesische Schrift, die das kulturelle Erbe Balis verkörpert. Seit Jahrhunderten in heiligen Texten und Tempeln verwendet, symbolisiert sie die spirituelle Tiefe der Insel.

Sie ist nicht nur heilig, sondern auch äußerst SELTEN – weltweit nur von wenigen Menschen verstanden. Außerhalb Balis ist sie nahezu unbekannt. Daher wird jedes Kunstwerk, das Aksara Bali beinhaltet, nicht nur zur kreativen Ausdrucksform, sondern auch zur Bewahrung immateriellen Kulturerbes.

Meine Kunst soll die Schrift erhalten und sie gleichzeitig in die moderne Welt überführen. Wer ein solches Werk sammelt, holt sich ein Stück balinesischer Tradition, spiritueller Energie und kulturellen Segens nach Hause.

3. Verfügbarkeit der Kunstwerke

Werden Ihre Kunstwerke versteigert oder direkt verkauft?

Ich biete zwei Kategorien an:

  • Auktionswerke: Nur im Rahmen von Ausstellungen erhältlich und nicht online gelistet. Preise auf Anfrage. Informationen erhalten Sammler über meine Mailingliste oder im persönlichen Kontakt.
  • Werke zum Festpreis: Direkt online zu einem festen Preis erhältlich und behalten immer ihren ursprünglichen Wert.

4. Ist der Kauf Ihrer Kunstwerke eine Investition?

In gewisser Weise, ja. Meine Kunstwerke tragen das kulturelle Erbe Balis und die Sanskrit-Tradition. Der Besitz eines Werks bedeutet Wertschätzung dieser Geschichte und Handwerkskunst – mit bleibendem künstlerischem und kulturellem Wert.

5. Versand & Verpackung

Versenden Sie international?

Ja! Ich versende weltweit – inklusive Versicherung für Originale.

Fallen zusätzliche Steuern oder Zollgebühren an?

Gemäß § 19 UStG (Kleinunternehmerregelung) wird keine Umsatzsteuer ausgewiesen.

Innerhalb der EU fallen keine Zollgebühren an (außer in Sondergebieten wie z. B. den Kanarischen Inseln). Außerhalb der EU können Einfuhrabgaben, Zoll und Mehrwertsteuer anfallen – abhängig von den jeweiligen Landesbestimmungen. Diese Gebühren liegen in der Verantwortung des Käufers. Auch die Abwicklung des Zolls obliegt dem Käufer.

Bieten Sie kostenlosen Versand an?

Ja, der Versand ist weltweit kostenlos. Im Falle einer Rücksendung trägt der Käufer jedoch alle anfallenden Kosten (z. B. Rückversand, Steuern, Gebühren für Währungsumrechnung). Rückerstattungen erfolgen ausschließlich in Euro und beinhalten keine Rückzahlung dieser Kosten.

Wie lange dauert der Versand?

Ich bearbeite Bestellungen schnellstmöglich:

Was passiert bei Verlust der Sendung?

Im Falle eines Verlusts arbeite ich mit dem Versanddienstleister zur Klärung. Entschädigung erfolgt gemäß dessen Richtlinien.

Sind Ihre Kunstwerke Originale?

Ja! Meine Kunstwerke sind Unikate aus Öl, Acryl, Aquarell, Pastell u. a. Materialien. 

Bieten Sie limitierte Drucke an?

Ich fertige keine Drucke an, da ich die Exklusivität und Einzigartigkeit jedes Kunstwerks bewahren möchte.

Kann ich ein individuelles Kunstwerke in Auftrag geben?

Komplette WunschKunstwerke biete ich nicht an. Jedoch sind personalisierte Aksara-Bali-Schriftzüge möglich (z. B. Initialen, Worte oder kurze Botschaften).

Bieten Sie Rahmungen an?

Derzeit werden Werke ungerahmt verkauft, sodass Sie den Rahmen selbst passend wählen können. Gerne empfehle ich hochwertige Rahmenlösungen (z. B. Hartpapierrahmen). Persönliche Beratung via WhatsApp unter +49 176 30 581 949.

7. Echtheitszertifikat

Gibt es ein Echtheitszertifikat für Originale?

Ja! Jedes Originalkunstwerk wird mit einem handsignierten Echtheitszertifikat als Nachweis seiner Originalität geliefert.

8. Zahlung & Rückgabe

Welche Zahlungsmethoden werden akzeptiert?

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, Shop Pay, UnionPay Japan, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna Pay Later, und Banküberweisung. Die Zahlung per Banküberweisung muss innerhalb von 7 Tagen erfolgen. Ihre Bestellung wird bearbeitet, sobald die Zahlung eingegangen und bestätigt wurde. Wir gewährleisten einen reibungslosen und sicheren Bezahlvorgang. Der Schutz Ihrer Privatsphäre und Daten hat für uns höchste Priorität. Gemäß § 19 UStG (Kleinunternehmerregelung) wird keine Umsatzsteuer ausgewiesen.

Bieten Sie Rückerstattungen oder Umtausch an?

Maßanfertigungen oder personalisierte Artikel, wie z. B. individuelle balinesische Schriftzüge, sind vom Umtausch und von der Rückerstattung ausgeschlossen – es sei denn, sie wurden während des Versands beschädigt. In solchen Fällen arbeite ich gemeinsam mit dem Versanddienstleister bzw. der Versandversicherung an einer Lösung.
